Somebody asked us suddenly:" Do you girls ever take or see my file? I didn't label it and I've been searching it for few months."
We answered:" File? What file? We never take your file and we never notice it."
Phone hanged.
Three of us started searching around for the mentioned file but failed. After 10 minutes, J holds the file in her hands happily and asked me:" Is it the file?" I flipped and said:"Where you got this from? Genius! I think this is the one!"
I walked to 'someone' and asked:" J found this!Is this the file you're looking for?" She flipped and asked angrily:" I've been searching it for months and couldn't get it! How come she was able to find it?" Then, 'someone' walked straightly to J and shouted:" Show me where you got this from?"
J said she got it right on top of some unused files. 'Someone' didn't even say a thank you but stared at us angrily and mumbered:" Impossible I couldn't see it. I've searching at the place several times!" while she walked back to her department.
Oh my god, what kind of behaviour she had! We offered our help but get her blame and angry stare in return? She must be thought we re-placed the file or we hide the file and said we found it!
Hey, please think maturally. First, we're not kids, we admit if we did took it. Second, no one will touch the unlabelled file. Third, it may be re-placed by you while you did the filing. Forth, you should asked by the time you couldn't find it but not yelling at innocent people after months. Evidence showed it placed on top of some unused files and you're the one who placed them there after took out those documents!
You see, offered help volunteerily will get misunderstanding from people. Shall us just keep quiet next time when people needs help?
